Pretty pieces of lumber at discounted prices in our "one-off" rack!

This is a section of our lumber rack where we group unique pieces from prior loads and discount them by 10%.

Some of these pieces are really neat and hard to find.




If you don't mind digging through the lift, there are some real gems at great prices that can be used for a variety if projects.




There is a little bit of everything in the rack- figured exotics, domestics (see pic of claro walnut above), crotch, small slabs, etc.



Some of our clients only concentrate on this rack when they drop by the shop knowing that they can find some great pieces at great prices.




Check out this pieces pictured above-

10 foot piece of "real" genuine mahogany from the 1950's. This is the golden brown tight grained stuff and not that salmon colored junk that most wood shops try to pass off as mahogany. And at 10% off you can't beat it!




We aren't going to lie- some pieces have cracks and are oddly shaped, but we figure at the right price there is a use for everything here at the shop.

(At 14 inches wide and at a discounted price, we are sure one or two of you can find a use for the pretty piece of zebrawood pictured above!)

Another gorgeous wood slab finds a new home...

Some of these slabs are so unique, it's always exciting when we sell one to a customer and know that it will be a functional piece of art in the near future.

This parota slab is on it's way to Arizona to be made into a unique dining table for a contemporary home.

We can't wait to see the finished piece!

All the new slabs from our last shipment are up on the "slabs" page of our website as of yesterday.

Feel free to check them out or keep an eye out for this month's e-newsletter that will have links to all the new slabs.

As stated by many of our walk-in clients, "....some if the nicest wood slabs we have ever imported!"

Our wood on the cover of American Woodturner!

Neat piece by customer Jon Sauer on the cover of the latest issue of American Woodturner.

He purchased a bunch of Turkish Boxwood logs a while back and we are excited to see some of that stock in such a beautiful piece!

Want some of this same boxwood?

We have a crate full of gorgeous logs at $10.00/lbs here at the shop and on the Online Store as well.

If you have never used Turkish Boxwood before, pretty much same species as the English variety but much more stable and less expensive as well!
